Pre-launch utility · Gmail read-only

Appointment reminders,
without changing your inbox.

OpenClaw Appointment Reminder is a personal-use tool prepared to use read-only Gmail access to identify appointment-related messages and create reminders. Its Gmail-reading schedules are currently inactive while final production OAuth configuration remains unfinished.

A bounded, local-first workflow

01

Identify

When enabled, reviews a bounded Gmail time window and identifies appointment-related information.

02

Reconcile

Reconciles confirmations, cancellations, and reschedules into local appointment state.

03

Remind

Can deliver weekly and morning-of reminders to a dedicated Discord destination.

Gmail access

Read-only by design

The application can search and retrieve Gmail messages. It cannot send, delete, Trash, archive, relabel, mark read or unread, change Gmail settings, or otherwise modify Gmail.

Metadata may be examined before a message is classified. A bounded body representation may be retrieved when needed.

Local model processing

Verified local Ollama model

Bounded Subject, From, and sanitized body text can be processed by a provenance-validated, locally installed model over an IPv4-loopback-only interface.

The implemented and deployment-verified Appointment Reminder boundary has no hosted-model fallback. Cloud execution and request-body logging are disabled in the validated deployment.

Local storage

Reminder-relevant appointment facts and minimal Gmail provenance are maintained in an operator-controlled local SQLite database while the service is enabled. Raw email bodies and snippets are not stored there.

Optional Discord reminders

When enabled, selected appointment logistics can pass through a dedicated OpenClaw profile to one privately administered Discord destination. Operator-controlled reminders are removed within seven days after the appointment; Discord or recipient copies can remain outside operator control.

Your Google access

You can revoke future Google access in your Google Account controls. Revocation does not itself delete local records, backups, or messages already delivered to Discord.
